Sara Berger completed her Ph.D. under Prof. Apkarian. Her projects involve both humans (fMRI, cognitive tasks, and psychophysical tests) and animals (behavioral assays and pharmacological interventions), and her interests span human cognition, addiction, systems neuroscience, chronic pain prevention, neuroethics, and disability theory. She is now pursuing postdoctoral work at IBM.
